For Anti Money Laundering (AML) reasons, all Mastercard Gift Cards must be assigned to a specified recipient on ordering. Anonymous Mastercard gift cards are no longer permitted.
It’s also a much more secure way of ensuring that each card is delivered to the correct person as only the assigned recipient will be able to activate the card for use. The surname you provide us for the card recipient will be a required criteria during activation.
