There is no charge to use the AllGo Mastercard Gift Card for the first 12 months after the card is loaded. After 12 months, there is a €3 charge per month on any unused balance. The fees are displayed under the details of your AllGo Mastercard Gift Card on the Get My eCard app, on our website, and in our Terms & Conditions (see Section 14 here).
This charge pays for the cost of providing and maintaining the card. These costs include bank charges, payment processing fees, card funds safeguarding, anti-fraud measures, regulation & compliance, technology platform costs, customer service for cardholders, and company salaries and overheads.
The fee charged is competitive with other similar cards, and unlike some other gift cards, we do not charge any commission to retailers when the card is used.
The vast majority of AllGo Mastercard Gift Cards are spent within 12 months and incur no card fees. A low, single digit percentage of all card values has the fee deducted.
*if you have a balance lower than €3, the final maintenance payment will deduct the remaining balance. Your card won’t go into deficit.
